What an uplifting video of our sweet and salty rue in flower! I love how blue the leaves are. In Mexico, before a sweat, the curanderas use bundles of rue dipped in water to cleanse people as they enter the lodge. It's very invigorating :) I have seen two photosensitivity rashes from apprentices, after coming into contact with rue in my garden.

Thank you, Juliet! Curious how long the photosensitivity rashes took to appear after contact?

I feel like they showed up that afternoon or the next day

Thank you for your love letter to Rue. I have been growing it for a couple of years now, and love the look and texture of the plant but had been told it was "dangerous.". So glad to see its virtues extolled here. Thank you, Morgaine!

Those dangerous herbs, they can cause so much good trouble- hahaha! No really, I understand that those with skin that is sensitive to it need to be precautious but overall it is so worth it to call Rue into our lives. The plant that is dangerous is sugar;-)
